Ahwatukee's Best Veterinarian and Boarding Facility
Our COVID-19 Policy
Here at The ACVH we do not only consider our staff family but we consider all of you and your fur babies as part of The ACVH family. During this unprecedented time of the COVID-19 we are striving to do our part to slow the spread of coronavirus and we encourage everyone to do their part as well. Some CDC guidelines are to thoroughly wash your hands, reframe from touching your face and maintain a 6 foot distance if you must leave your home.
Even while maintaining the recommended stay at home some other recommendations to take care of yourself are to eat healthy, get exercise and to continue stimulating your mind. This will go a long way to cope with this stressful situation. While everyone continues to take care of themselves we cannot forget about our four legged companions.
The governor has stated to reframe from non essential surgical procedures, such as spay, neuters, and routine dentals. This is to minimize the use of PPE that is so critical in the human medical industry at this time. The governor has also stated we should make every effort to continue to provide medical care especially if it effects the animals future health. Because of this The ACVH family is readily available to continue to provide outstanding care to you and your pet.
Since our best friends cannot talk and tend to hide their problems it is vital that we continue on with their routine care so that we can prevent and treat a painful and potentially life threatening disease. We plan to only carry on with services that do not require the use of PPE.
The ACVH family has adopted some measures to protect both ourselves and you from the spread of COVID 19. We have divided our staff into teams to minimize their risk and have started doing curbside service to reduce your risk as well. Please call us at 480-893-8423 to receive our curbside service protocol. So we say to all our family, keep wagging, keep purring, stay positive, stay healthy, and may we all do our part to get through this together. Sincerely, Dr. Elliott, Dr. Neilson, and the dedicated staff of Ahwatukee Commons Veterinary Hospital
