KENNEL TECHNICIAN

We are seeking an energetic individual who works well in a team environment as well as independently for this Veterinary Kennel Attendant position. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and show initiative. 

Duties include running the day-to-day boarding facility within our veterinary hospital. Caring for our boarding pets includes feeding, watering, walking, cleaning cages, laundry, pet “play-times,” and ensuring all patients receive their necessary care. Maintenance of the boarding facility includes overall cleaning, organization, and upkeep. In addition, we are seeking a candidate who will provide assistance to our technician team, performing patient handling and assisting with procedures.

We are seeking a highly motivated full-time employee who can work day shifts, every weekend and holidays.

One year recent experience is preferred, but we will consider training for the right candidate. Compensation is dependent upon experience.

RECEPTIONIST

This is not a typical receptionist position. We are seeking a candidate that works well in a fast-paced, environment, that can handle multitasking and stressful situations with ease. Exceptional client service skills are a must. Being able to learn quickly is essential in this working environment, as our receptionists are committed to providing excellent client education and information.

If you are a dynamic professional who is outgoing, organized, compassionate, loves animals and being part of a team, this may be the perfect position for you. Qualified candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent; must be able to provide outstanding client service, have exceptional phone skills, be extremely organized and detail oriented.

Located in a beautiful area of southern Phoenix, Ahwatukee Commons Veterinary Hospital is seeking a highly motivated full-time employee who can work day shifts as well as Saturdays and some evenings.

Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, client communications, data entry, answering multiple line phones, updating medical charts, filing, scheduling, client education, and handling money. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, detail oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Experience working in the veterinary field highly preferred.
